Roman V. Yanushevsky

Roman V. Yanushevsky was born in 1979 in Russia. At the age 14, Roman went to the US as part of the foreign exchange student program IEF (International Educational Forum). In 1995, he graduated from the Farmington High School in Farmington, MO and returned to his hometown Ufa to finish his studies in Linguistic gymnasium #91. From 1996-2001 he studied history in Bashkir State University, Ufa, Russia. His graduation paper was: “The ethno genesis of Philistines”.

From 1997 to 1999 Mr. Yanushevsky was writing articles for “Molodezhnaya gazeta”(city “Youth newspaper”). In 2000-2001 he was a youth section editor in Jewish community newspaper in Ufa, Russia.

In 2001 Mr. Yanushevsky immigrated to Israel. From 2002-2004 he served in the IDF.  Since 2005 Mr. Yanushevsky started to write articles for the leading Israeli newspaper in Russian – “Vesty”. In 2008 he became “Question of the week” column editor. Mr. Yanushevsky wrote articles for a number of leading newspapers and Internet media.

Currently, Mr. Yanushevsky has launched a new column “A boiling point” at Vesty. He is about to graduate for the MBA diploma in diplomacy at the Tel-Aviv University.
