Yanko Valdes (bass) holds a Bachelor in Music degree from Hunter college and studied privately with Carlos Franzetti, Santi Debriano, Kiyoto Fujiwara and Hugo Moraga. Yanko is a bass instructor at the International Studio of Music and a member of the Department of Education of the City of New York. He has been involved in projects with artists such as Dina Fanai, Dave Eggar, and Four on the Floor (Meet The Artist program at Lincoln Center). He was a special guest with Los Tetas on their South American tour. He has composed and produced two albums, Zekondz and Ideas de Camara.
