World Youth Leadership Network is charitable tax - exempt organization under Internal Revenue Code 501c(3)

 At a Gala WYLN Carnegie Hall event in 2007, the International Board of the World Youth Leadership Network has established the “Sugihara Annual Humanitarian Award” to be given each year to prominent individuals for their outstanding achievements in saving lives, promoting peace and empowering of youth.
Each year one prominent leader from the following field will be selected for the award.
- Politics/diplomacy
- Business/Corporation
- Youth empowerment/arts individuals/organization
will receive the WYLN Sugihara Humanitarian Award.
The WYLN International Committee will announce recipients of the 2009 Sugihara Humanitarian Award by October 1st 2008.
