Salam Mohammad Islam is the Executive Director of the Rwanga Foundation, a prominent NGO working on a wide array of issues to promote socioeconomic development in the KRG. Salam will help recruit the participants to the workshops. They will be recruited from a wide range of sectors, including media, education, worker’s rights, youth, religion and human rights and from a diverse geographic pool and from across the ethnic and religious spectrum – Kurds, Arabs, Turkmen, Sunni, Shia, Christian, Yazidi – to promote inter-sectarian cooperation in civil society activism.
